Grayton Beach Roadtrip

Our next adventure we are headed to Grayton Beach, Florida. Disclaimer, we booked and planned this trip before I really jumped into our points jounery, but I feel worth sharing. This has been on my bucket list since we had our first son. We’ve done very minimal traveling since having our kids. It seemed challenging, expensive and did not seem like a vaction.

Some of our best trips have been slow paced, kid friendly towns. Our kids have also been begging to go back to the beach, and flying for a family of 5 is just expensive. Now seemed like the perfect time to convince my husband to road trip it to 30A! We rented a 2 bedroom beach house, which were very difficult to find.

We researched exactly where to stay, 30A is confusing and complicated. Our good freind that used to care for our kids kept talking up Grayton beach. We searched VRBO and airBNB and everything was so far from the beach or slept like 20 people. She referred us to Ocean Reef Vacation Rentals. I can share our exact beach house once we leave. It seems like such a unicorn find 3 housed from the beach, right by a Spanish tapas restaurant, bar and ice cream shop. We can drive to seaside, and close enough to Panama City beach for an excursion to Shell Island we’ve been eyeing. I’ll share our full itinerary once we get back and I’m able to review everything.
